Living Book Reader Agreement

This Reader Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between Manja Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), and you ("Reader", "you", or "your") regarding your use of the Living Book Platform ("Platform").

By accessing, browsing, reading, or interacting with content on the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Eligibility

1.1. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

2. User Account

2.1. Certain features may require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

2.3. You agree not to share your account with others.

3. Permitted Use of the Platform

3.1. The Platform and all content, including books, text, images, videos, and interactive elements ("Content"), are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

3.2. You may:
- Read and interact with Content.
- Share permitted excerpts using the Platform's built-in sharing functions.

3.3. You may not:
- Copy, download, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted by the Platform.
- Circumvent security features or access Content through unauthorized means.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access or collect data.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. All intellectual property rights in the Platform, its software, branding, layout, and functionalities are owned by Manja Inc. or its licensors.

4.2. Content published by authors or publishers remains their intellectual property.

4.3. Your use of the Platform does not grant you ownership or any intellectual property rights in the Platform or the Content.

5. Content Disclaimer

5.1. The views, opinions, and accuracy of Content are the responsibility of the respective publishers and authors.

5.2. Manja Inc. does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any Content and is not responsible for any reliance placed on it.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Interfere with the operation of the Platform.
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.

7. Privacy

7.1. Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7.2. You agree not to misuse any personal information of other users that you may access through the Platform.

8. Termination

8.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion, without notice, if you violate this Agreement or applicable laws.

8.2. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

8.3. Provisions that survive termination include Intellectual Property, Disclaimer, Indemnification, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manja Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Platform, violation of this Agreement, or violation of any third-party rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10.2. Manja Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, including any loss of data, revenue, or profits.

10.3. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed USD $100.

11. Modifications to the Agreement

11.1. We may update this Agreement from time to time.

11.2. You will be notified of material changes through the Platform or via email. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, USA.

13. Miscellaneous

13.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Manja Inc. with respect to your use of the Platform.

13.2. If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13.3. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.

13.4. You may not assign or transfer this Agreement without prior written consent. We may assign this Agreement without restriction.

By accessing or using the Living Book Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

Note: This Reader Agreement governs your use of the Platform for accessing and reading content. If you wish to become a publisher, a separate Publisher Agreement applies.

Reader Terms of Service
